How to Measure Solar Mesh for Bird (Pigeon) Proofing Using Google Earth
Measuring your solar mesh requirements is quick and easy with Google Earth. Just follow the steps below:

Step 2: Enter your property address in the search bar and zoom in to your roof and solar panels.
Step 3: Click on the Measure tool (the ruler icon at the top of the screen), as shown in the image below.
Step 4: Start clicking around the perimeter of your solar panels (where the mesh will be installed). Google Earth will automatically calculate the total measurement for you.
Step 5: Add an extra 5% to your total measurement to allow for wastage and any additional needs.
