QuickLink flash is made of UV-resistant flexible rubber with a self-adhesive backing. It contains an aluminum mesh that provides rigidity and a lasting memory when dressed to the roof surface.

This lead-free, flexible, self-adhesive flashing is designed for sealing around dormer windows, chimneys, roof valleys,ventilation caps, solar panels, skylights, and wall abutments. 

 

 

QuickLink Flashing Install Instructions

 

• Before installing, ensure the roof is clean, free of dust, oils, grease, wax, and detergents.
• Cut the Fast Flash to the required length using roofing snips.
• Once in the correct position, remove the backing paper to allow adhesion to the vertical surface (minimum of 100 mm).
• Any gaps between the wall or other vertical substrates must be filled using roofing sealant.
• A 25 mm x 1 mm aluminium strip is recommended for installation on the top edge of the flashing if the surface is timber.
• After adhering the flashing to the wall, remove the remaining backing paper and gently form the Fast Flash to the roof profile using your hands.
• Ensure a minimum overlap of 50 mm.
